BILL HENNESSY

We are very proud to announce, William (Bill) Hennessy, Licensed Real Estate Agent, has joined the firm of Global Business Brokerage, Inc. as a Senior Sales Consultant.  Bill will be able to help you with all your sales needs for the sale and purchases of businesses in the Tampa Bay Area and beyond.  Bill is a licensed real estate sales associate and has an extensive background in all phases of business, finance, real estate, as well as business brokerage.

Bill adds a unique perspective to our firm, Global Business Brokerage, Inc.  Having graduated with a BA from St. John's University in New York in 1970, he worked for a Fortune 500 insurance and financial services firm for 34 years and held positions in claims, underwriting, and the sales department.

He managed up to 158 employees in one Florida operation and his sales management positions have enabled him to work with many sales agents, running their own individual businesses.  He assisted them with the marketing, goal setting, planning and cash flow, establishing value for sales and purchases of other similar type businesses.  This included hiring, compliance, technical, as well as financial.  This position required passing tests for NASD securities, the Series 6, 63, 7, 24 and 51.

Relocating to the Tampa Bay Area in 1991 from Long Island, New York,  and leaving the corporate world, he has owned two businesses, both of which were successful in terms of sales volume, customer service and owner equity.

Having owned successful small businesses himself, Bill understands the unique needs of the small business owner and buyer. With his diverse and extensive managerial and financial service experience, he will be able to assist our customers who want to enter the world of business ownership, as well as those who would like to purchase a business.  His success in the corporate and financial world, gives him a unique perspective, which we look for in our sales associates.   Having been associated with Bill for several years, we know you will garner much from his many years of experience and expertise

Bill is married with three children, two boys and a girl.  His hobbies include exercise, golf, rollerblading, learning new things, reading and volunteer work.
